For 15 years, my clinical practice has revolved around creating brave(r) and safe(r) spaces that are equitable and deeply respectful of marginalized identities, initially at the high school level and then at the college level. My cultural upbringing is a huge part of what informs my commitment to community and social justice and is connected to my drive to be in service to others. I feel engaged in and committed to a kind of radical social work that honors and strives to create space for all voices and experiences, particularly the nuances and complexities of our lives as BGLT/queer folks.
