Born and Raised in Oakland California, Cori has been involved in LGBT advocacy for over a decade. He currently is the Founder/CEO of Brotherhood510, which empowers trans-masculine Black individuals to access community resources and connect with one another via social media and through creative outlets. In 2017, he served as a fellow in the Human Rights Campaign HIV 360 Fellowship Program. Cori is Deputy Director of Programs at AIDS Project of the East Bay which is the longest running and oldest agency worldwide. APEB was created in the early 1980’s specifically to combat medical racism and white supremacy during the AIDS epidemic in Oakland/San Francisco. He sits on a number of executive boards and community advisory boards specifically around transgender wellness/advocacy, HIV prevention/care and HIV cure.
